abandoning the forest

Over 10,500 page views. They just keep rolling in now, even though I've done nothing here for a while. That won't change: I've decided to give up on this account. Guess I decided that for some time ago. I won't delete anything, I'll keep it here and come in and check every now and then. Too much moss has grown here, I'll leave it to take over as it should do. This place has been silent for a long time, only the marks of people hurrying by have been seen. It's time I leave it, let it become wild: I never was good at taming it anyway. This is a forest, taking back the space I once stole from it. The succession must go on, as it's always done.

Just came back from a 5-day kayaking course in the Åland archipelago. I chose not to take my new camera with me, but to instead stick to my good old HP PhotoSmart R707 in case of capsizing. X) Nothing like that happened unintentionally, though. It was a great trip in a gorgeous area. I took some 250 photos and the good ones are in my gallery now. In a couple of weeks I'm leaving again, for a 10-day hike in Sarek national park in Northern Sweden. Looking forward to that. :) After that, courses start again and I'll start doing my real experiments.. So, the schedule is full. Hopefully I'll get some nice photos in Sarek, it's supposed to b
