Tonight is the last night of shortage of darkness,
the first night of the end of summer.
I never thought there would be an end of this madness,
I didn't imagine I'd live 'til this year's Midsummer..
Here I stand in the last remaining light,
the last ray that suddenly changes into the first one of dawn.
Now I can say I stood here all night,
awaiting the darkness with my sword drawn.
Tonight is the last night of complete light,
the only night I'll try to fight the oncoming dark.
Just like last year, the Sun took the last flight,
and just before leaving, she left us a small spark.
Until next year.
